About Benjamin Clegg
I’m Benjamin Clegg, an integrative psychotherapist based in North West London, working with clients across London and online.
In my own life and work, my background in both the arts and corporate world has taught me how imagination can open up new perspectives as well as challenges. A rich inner life can be both inspiring and overwhelming; the same sensitivity that fuels creativity can also stir self-doubt, anxiety, or inner conflict.
In therapy, I offer a space to bring these experiences into the open. My role is to walk alongside you as we explore your inner world, not to reduce you to labels or problems.
I work integratively, drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches depending on what’s needed. I also invite creativity into the process itself, sometimes through words, sometimes through imagery, sound, or movement.
Clients often describe our work as grounding, spacious, and gently challenging. My philosophy isn’t to “fix” you, but to help you reconnect with the parts of yourself that have been hidden, silenced, or burdened and to rediscover a more authentic and connected way of being in the world.
I trained through Middlesex University and Metanoia Institute, one of the leading psychotherapy training institutes in the UK, achieving a Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy.
I have worked in private practice since 2019 in various counselling settings including long-term therapy as well as South London & Maudsley NHS in GP practices helping clients with a wide range of emotional and psychological needs.
I’m a registered member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) following their Code of Ethical Practice. I am also a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their Ethical Principles and Code of Professional Conduct.
